| Volunteers
Volunteers know the true meaning of being blessed. It is through the service of helping others that one finds the true meaning and joy of life. Christians Helping Drug Abusers (CHDA) is committed to being of service to God. With dedicated volunteers we can reach people all over the United States, and abroad.
This year we are working with law enforcement agencies trough out the United States so that we can have direct access to communities that have problems caused by illegal drug use. This allows us to target our resources to communities where our services are most needed. In areas where we have little or no volunteers we send bulk mailings of our fliers. If you know of some area where we can be of service please let us know.
Just say no. Sounds easy, doesn’t it? A simple solution to a complex problem. Just say no and it all goes away. Unfortunately, drug and alcohol abuse can’t be slogan away. It continues to wreck marriages and families, steal efficiency from our labor force, and endanger our way of life. Chemical abuse destroys healthy bodies, and ravages young minds. Drug and alcohol abuse relax inhibitions and numb consciences to the depravity of sexual sins. Impatient and impoverished abusers resort to dirty needles carrying the AIDS virus. The need to support a habit often drives dependents to crime and prostitution.

We need volunteers to help us reach more people by passing out our fliers. We also have wallet size cards with the life saving information on them. We ask each volunteer to carry a card or two. This will be helpful in the event that you come into contact with a person that needs your help. We understand that everyone is not of the type to support us by passing out fliers. That is why we use cards. We do not want to miss out on the opportunity to encourage someone to get help. So please volunteer to carry cards, it will truly change your life. Just knowing you have the chance to help someone get his or her life back on track will bring joy to your heart. Because drug and alcohol abuse is seen and unseen we ask volunteers to place our fliers wherever there is an opportunity. This could be at a shopping mall, walking to school, or anywhere the problem might exist. You can do this along, with friends or with your church group. You can go to the Outreach Ministry page to view the text, which is on our fliers. This is the text that we use to help save God's children. Our fliers work just the way they are. They have helped get many people back on track with God, family and friends. |
